The Typology Paris Polyglumatic Acid this serum claims to smooth and plump the appearance of fine lines. The large particles of Polyglumatic Acid provide more hydration than Hyaluronic Acid. With the 3% Red Seaweed Extract providing a synthesis of the effects for Hyaluronic and natural ceramides. Reinforcing the skin’s barrier.
Amount Used
In my use, I followed the instructions on the bottle of 2-3 drops for my whole face and neck. Slipping in an extra drop or two if I found that I needed a more hydrating skin care routine. Some days my skin is drier than others, usually at night. I’ll also add an extra drop or two on the days that I use more powerful actives like retinols.
How it Feels on the Face
The Typology Paris plumping serum feels like a drink of water for your face. The face serum is super hydrating. It takes only seconds to absorb and doesn’t leave any kind of film on the face.
Once absorbed my face looks noticeably smoother and has a glow from within super model look. This serum is a perfect base for the any active serums because it preps the skin with hydration. Effectively creating a layer of protection without leaving excess product on the surface to pill or congeal in any way.
This hydrating serum is also a beautiful consideration for makeup prep. There is no residue on the skin to consider. And, besides the boost in plumpness, the glow from within is the perfect canvas for makeup primer!
Price Point
This hydrating serum is priced at $49.50 for 1oz. Making it an investment serum in my personal collection at this time. Considering I’ve been using my bottle since the end of May. I’m only about a quarter through the bottle. Making it worth the money for sure in my opinion!

My Emotional Takeaway
The experience with this plumping serum for me is mostly two fold. The packaging and, of course, the feel of the face. Typology packaging really does make it feel like like indulgence. You feel like the French it girl. This face serum is the perfect embodiment of simple and natural skin care. I love me some hydrating skin care! It feels like a dew drop has just sunk into your face on a spring day.
I always feel confident putting on an active serum on top of this one. A protective and nourishing layer of natural skin care that really raises the bar for me when it comes to how hydrating products should be.
