YSL Beauty Lash Clash | Beauty First Impressions
When I first got my hands on this mascara, I was in some ways smitten from the start. There’s always a rush of joy unboxing a designer makeup item. The Lash Clash mascara didn’t stop impressing me there, though. I love that the formula felt was a medium thickness, with a contour shape wand that shaved some time off of mascara application.
YSL’s Lash Clash mascara leaves lashes feeling full and fluttery. I love that once applied I don’t even feel anything sitting on my lashes. The formula manages to feel lightweight and still be thick enough to accentuate lashes.
Black and Brown Mascara
Talk about day to night! I love when a good mascara formula comes in brown along with black. Brown mascara is also a perfect way to make brown eyes pop! Oftentimes, there’s a worry of a switch up in formula for fashion colors. Sticking with a small color line up keeps the integrity of the formula! There is also a blue which really heals my inner teenager!
Black mascara is for the days that you want bold and empowering. Black mascara is so classic and the perfect traditional staple in your makeup bag. Black mascara adds a subtle drama that compliments every kind of look. Day to night!
Brown mascara really changes up the mascara game by giving the lashes definition and volume. Without the sultry effect of traditional black mascara. Brown eyes and brown mascara is a combination that will always be unbeatable to me. Although, having brown eyes I should warn that I am biased!
Mascara Wand Type
The mascara wand is the magician of lashes! With this kind of wand, lashes are hugged with the formula. While still separating into pretty clumps that don’t flake to the under eye area! This mascara wand also makes it easy to get most of your lashes in a single application. Only having to touch up the corners.
With this kind of mascara wand it’s important to skip the lower lashes! The contour of the wand makes it easier to smudge into under eye concealer. With the contour of this mascara wand it also makes it easier to not poke the rest of your makeup.
Lash Clash Lasting Power
This mascara has lasted me all day. While it did smudge after a while. It smudges in a way that melts into the skin. It doesn’t leave any black streaks as it wears. Lash Clash mascara’s formula also fades evenly as well. As compared to some mascaras that have given me the illusion of lash extensions starting to fall out.
I’ve gotten a good 8 hour wear with minimal smudging! With one reapplication Lash Clash mascara can easily get you through a night out.The removal process with a good balm is a breeze. Remember never to pull on your lashes when removing mascara. Be gentle with your lashes!
Final Thoughts
This mascara formula has me absolutely smitten so far! It’s easy to get a fuller lash look without more than 2 swipes. Spreading evenly through my lashes without the spider lashes effect of having thick separations. This mascara is perfect for “no makeup” makeup days. Giving lashes a beauty model off duty look. Without a messy aftermath at the end of the day.
The beautiful packaging of course plays a part in completing the experience! The logo against the all black packaging feels luxurious. Every time I pull it out I feel like that woman! From the start the unboxing experience of this mascara is 10/10/10. Simply put this is the mascara I’m reaching for every day.
